After 24 years in management, Nancy retired to pursue her desire to become a Biblical Counselor through the three-phase training program provided by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (biblicalcounseling.com).

The Bible is God’s all-sufficient guide for relational living and soul care. Biblical counseling is grounded in Scripture, and it is through the truths of God’s Word that we will find solutions to the many problems people may be suffering with. Our goal in life is to honor God and glorify Him in every situation (2 Corinthians 5:9). Biblical counseling is based on God’s Word and provides direction and truth in our lives.

Nancy’s favorite Bible character is Ruth. The story of Ruth reminds Nancy that whatever we go through in life, we can live according to God’s principles. Because of Ruth’s faithfulness and love for Naomi, her mother-in-law, Ruth remained with her in a strange land. Eventually she remarries, and has a son who becomes the grandfather of David, and the ancestor of Jesus. Her obedience brought her into the lineage of Christ! What a sovereign God we have! Trust that he has a plan for you too!!
